It's hilarious how intently she stares at the owls on the mobile. Her eyes will follow them closely as they make their rounds.

Sleeping with the Grandmas
I once asked my mom how she would be able to split up time holding Melia with Jason's mom if they were over at the same time. She said, "You should've considered having twins then."

These pictures are actually from a few weeks ago. Check out Jason's attempt at dressing Melia. Yes, the onsie was buttoned on the outside of her pants. His reasoning: this will help keep her too-big pants up!

Trip to the Rose Garden
We decided to take Melia to the Rose Garden.
She slept the entire time we were at the park.
Unfortunately, the roses haven't begun to bloom.
Her sleeve is actually still way too big and stuck straight up. It looks like she's trying to wave in this picture.

Best Nap Ever!
Everyone warns you as a new parents, you won't get much sleep. Melia was a little fussy this afternoon and wouldn't nap for more than 15 minutes at a time.
She's starting to get more sleepy here...

Before I knew it, we both passed out. I have to say, this was the best nap I've had in weeks.
Sweet sleeping baby. She ended up sleeping for 3 hours!

How did she fit in there??
Sometimes when Melia's stretched out, I wonder how she was able to fit in my belly. Then she'll curl up and it all makes sense :)

Favorite sleeping position
No matter how we swaddle her, she always manages to get an arm free.
She seems to sleep really well in this position though!
Going for a walk
Nice days are just too far and in between in the NW. We took her out for a short walk on a recent sunny day.
