We went down to so cal last may for Aunty Christie and uncle Alex's wedding. Melia met up with her cousin Ryan.

New haircut

Lately Melia won't let me put her hair up in pigtails or ponytails. Just flat out refuses. I was a little concerned that her hair would look bad for Christie & Alex's wedding (especially since it was beginning to look like darth vader) so I took her to get a hair cut. I specifically told the girl to just even it out, and not touch the length too much. Instead she lopped off 2 inches& gave her very short bangs! Anyone who knows Jason knows he HATES short bangs.
She actually sat very still during the haircut. I was shocked. So I took her to get a cookie afterwards. She chose a "Choco cookie."

Gardening

Korean food

It's tough taking Melia out to eat in public. For some reason she did really well at a Korean restaurant! Usually Jason & I have to eat in ten minute shifts, but this time she outlasted us! Here she is double fisting applesauce & a Korean dessert.

Swimsuit

For some odd reason, Melia decided she wanted to wear a swimsuit today. For a long time, she refused to clothes over it. Finally she relented but would only wear tiger pants with it. Does anyone else have a tough time
dressing their toddlers?
We call the smile in the first pict her Jenna smile. :)

Tim gunn!

Ok not a post about melia, but I was really excited to see Tim gunn recently. He's pretty funny in person.

Water fountain with Sonam

We went to dinner with the kumars the other night. Melia has very little patience so we try not to go to places with long waits. We were told that the wait would only be 15 minutes but ended up waiting an hour. Not to worry! There were water fountains nearby & the kumars brought an extra towel for melia! She had a blast running in the water.
