Backyard Fun

After dinner, Melia wanted to play outside.  Typically she'll grab her shoes and walk up to the door, but this night, she just walked up to the door and started tapping on it.  These days, she hates wearing a bib, so that's why her shirt is so dirty.  She had raspberries for dinner.  That girl can finish off a container of raspberries in a day.

It's impossible to keep a flower/bow in her hair.  She makes it a game to pull it out the moment I put it in.

Melia's First Haircut

As you can see from recent pictures, Melia's hair has been out of control.  She had the shaggiest bangs and somewhat of a mullet.  I was going to take her to a hair dresser, but I figured that she would just need a little trim.  After all, I cut Jason's hair every month, I could handle Melia's, right?  Um, wrong.  See for yourself.

Jason is not a fan of short bangs and thinks I cut her bangs way too short.  One of Melia's nicknames is Little face.  Jason now calls her Little bangs.  :(  At least it'll grow back soon, right?

Melia loves going to play outside. Once we say, "Go get your shoes!" she gets so excited and starts grabbing her socks, shoes and, in this case, her sunglasses.

She is obsessed with sitting on this chair.
