Beach Trip

We took a beach trip with Uncle Lee, Aunty Sharon, the Chans and the Kumars.  Melia really enjoyed playing with her friends and messing around in the sand.

Melia loves going on walks but hates being confined in a stroller.  She loves being free to run around, but she refuses to hold my hand or stay by my side.  I now understand why people use harnesses on toddlers.  Our neighbors were nice enough to give us a hiking backpack. Melia definitely prefers going in it since she has a much better view.

The Hongs - Aunty Binh

A few days after Aunty Suzie, Uncle Vu, Aunty Christine and Minuet visited, Aunty Binh came back for a quick visit!

The same day Aunty Suzie came to visit, Uncle Vu, Aunty Christine and Cousin Minuet came by.  Melia had a blast playing with her cousin.

The Hongs Visit! - Aunty Suzie

August was such a busy month for us.  Lots of visitors and busy weekends!  The Hongs came home to visit their parents and stopped by for lunch.  Here is Aunty Suzie bribing Melia with a tortilla chip.

She was successful!  Melia going in for a kiss.

Got Milk?

Melia has never been much of a milk drinker.  It's probably my fault since she never sees me drinking milk.  Fortunately, she's been getting really good at drinking out of a cup.  It still gets pretty messy, but she's able to do it on her own!
