Hi Kira!

Melia loves spending time with one of her BFFs Kira. We have a book that has different baby faces. One of the babies looks like Kira and Melia will always kiss that baby when we stop on that page. :) Here they are hanging out one Saturday.

Melia loves to kiss Kira. I think Kira was a little nervous right here.

Melia now understands when I tell her "Kiss Kiss."

Loves Daycare

Melia now loves going to daycare. She has made good friends with a couple of the kids there. Together, they explore their classroom and teach each other silly tricks. It's funny how much she loves seeing other babies. She's very affectionate and will hug and kiss them.

Melia is quite the cruiser these days. She will pull herself up on furniture and walk around coffee tables and couches. She's getting pretty fast too. Her teachers tell me that she is always getting herself in tight quarters and will hang out there for quite a long time. Here are a couple of pictures her teacher sent me where she found herself in a ball trough. I just love her expression in the second picture.

Another Sleeper?

I realized the other day that in all my recent pictures of Melia, she's always wearing sleepers! Most of these pictures are taken on Fridays, which is our day alone together. We lounge around and wear pajamas most Fridays. I promise we do have her wear regular clothes, we just have very few pictures of her in them. ha ha..

Melia loves to dance. When she hears music, she'll bounce along with the melody. Here she is cruising at our coffee table and enjoying the beat off her activity center. (sorry for the shaky video)

Melia is 9 months old

Melia will be 9 months old tomorrow! Where did the time go? Her personality is really starting to come out and she is becoming very playful. She can be pretty opinionated. She's also manipulative and will flash you the sweetest smile to get her way. All in all, she is pretty mellow and a sweet sweet baby.
