The Big 2!
Happy Birthday Melia!
It's amazing to think back how much she has changed the last two years. Melia is now such a curious little child. She is still very affectionate, especially to her little Poocha. Melia favorite activities include dancing, creating music, watching Curious George, reading Dora the Explorer books, riding bikes, going on walks, going to the park, wearing clothes with stripes or polka dots, singing the ABC song, pointing out buses, going on trains, petting the neighbors' dogs, and trying on shoes. At the same time, she has become very stubborn and loves to test boundaries.
Hopefully we've seen the worst of the terrible two's (although I doubt it).
Happy Birthday Melie!

Pump It Up
Wow, I have been really bad about not blogging. Sorry! Here are some pictures of a play date with had with Kira and Leah at Pump it up.
For some reason, Melia tends to flip herself over when she goes down a slide.

Melia/Plumeria
Melia's name actually means plumeria flower, which are pretty abundant in Hawaii.
I had high hopes of getting a picture of one in her hair, but she wasn't being very cooperative.

Surf's Up!
One of Jason's favorite beach activities is boogie boarding. He can literally spend hours boarding at a time. Melia was amazed when she saw him and wanted to try herself. Obviously, we weren't going to let her do that in the ocean. So Jason came up with another solution....
The pool!
She was so excited until she fell in the pool.

Walking along Wailea
Maui is one of my favorite places in the world. This was our first time staying in Wailea. Most mornings, we would take a walk along the pathway behind our hotel and take in the amazing views.
Can you spot Melia and me?
Molokini
The western part of Maui.
The Four Seasons
Polo Beach
I thought the warning signs were kind of funny.
Especially the depiction of "crime."

The first day we walked, we actually saw Dennis Quaid and his wife walking the opposite direction! Jason was tempted to take a picture but I felt bad for acting like a paparazzi.
