We went down to Irvine for a quick 36 hour trip. I was worried that the traveling and lack of sleep would really affect Melia, but she ended up doing really well! On the plane ride down, she only slept for 1/2 an hour and soon after wanted to crawl or walk up and down the aisle. Luckily, there was an empty row a few rows ahead of us, so we were able to let her roam for a bit. The was a gentleman who sat to our right, and Melia wouldn't stop poking him. Jason took her in the bathroom where she played with the mirror for a good 10 minutes. At the end of the flight, when we were all standing up to deplane, the couple behind us remarked that she was such a good baby and didn't even realize she was there. We thought that was pretty funny since she wasn't sitting in front of them for a good chunk of the time.
